Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Truck Driver CDL A, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Load customer returns onto the trailer and secure trailer doors.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
