We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Staff to join our team at St. Camillus Residential Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall repair
  • Conduct projects involving demolition and renovation, building walls, and painting
  • Respond to work requests in a timely manner and maintain records of repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure all equipment, buildings, and office spaces are well-maintained and in good working order
  • Check climate controls daily to ensure proper heating and cooling
  • Perform regular maintenance on pumps and valves
  • Ensure backup generators are properly maintained and tested monthly
  • Operate hand tools, battery-powered tools, and other equipment safely
  • Operate motor vehicles to pick up and deliver office equipment and supplies
  • Responsible for salting and clearing walkways and emergency exits during inclement weather
  • Respond to emergencies 24/7 when on call
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in a maintenance capacity
  • Effective communication skills and ability to read and write
