Cardiac Stepdown Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Stepdown team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, heart failure, and coronary artery disease.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-management and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Department-specific competencies will be completed in the applicable department during the orientation process.
