Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health.
Job Specialty:Pediatrics - Cardiac Stepdown

Shift:3x12 Hours
Guaranteed Hours:36.00 per week
Experience:Minimum of 1 year of experience
License:Current RN License issued by the relevant State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
Certifications:Current Basic Life Support and PALS issued by the American Heart Association
Job Description:As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse group of patients with varying health issues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing care to patients with complex health needs
- Documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
- Assisting physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary
- Administering medication as prescribed and managing intravenous infusions and blood products
- Delivering competent patient care and engaging with patients and their families to share care plans and discharge information
- Informing patients and families about hospital procedures and referring patient care needs to appropriate personnel as required
- Delegating tasks to support staff and performing other assigned duties as necessary
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Basic computer skills
A graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing is preferred.
