Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at US Main. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to determine feasibility of new product ideas and improve existing product lines.
  • Explore new product concepts and features, engaging with R&D personnel in hands-on research and testing.
  • Work with engineering teams to design new products, contributing to the improvement of manufacturing capabilities and processes.
  • Participate in product compliance reviews and assist with risk assessments.
  • Travel to evaluate new opportunities and troubleshoot field issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience designing industrial machinery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on classical mechanics and Newtonian Physics.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with drafting standards and GD&T, as well as ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of good engineering and design practices, including manufacturing capabilities and tolerances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with printing presses, web converting machinery, or other continuous web processing machinery.
