Production Facility Manager

We are looking for a skilled Production Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production facility at North Coast Seafoods.

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000-$115,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a full-time exempt position with competitive compensation packages, including comprehensive health coverage, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

  • 5+ years of experience in leading food safety and QC teams in food manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience as a decision-maker responsible for interactions with customers, suppliers, regulators, and production leadership
  • BS in Chemistry, Biology, Food Safety, Food Science, or related field required; MS in Food Science or related field desirable

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all food safety and quality assurance programs and certifications
  • Manage, lead, and develop the quality control team to follow company QC and HACCP plans
  • Ensure the production facility adheres to regulatory, food safety, and company standards
  • Perform internal audits to ensure the production plant is adhering to food safety systems
  • Ensure food safety and quality policies and procedures are maintained, understood, and followed by all employees

Requirements:

  • Able to lift 30-50 pounds
  • Work up to a 10-hour workday: standing/walking most of the day
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
