Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Blount Fine Foods. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Maintenance Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Develop and implement a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program to identify and resolve equipment failures and downtime.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
  • Asset Care: Implement and maintain a comprehensive asset care program to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Facility Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Engineering Capital Projects: Participate in the planning and execution of engineering capital projects to upgrade and modernize our facilities and equipment.
  • Process Safety Management: Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and develop procedures to mitigate risks associated with ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Reliability Based Maintenance: Develop and implement a reliability-based maintenance program to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance or reliability supervisor in a high-speed consumer products industry.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
