Job Summary

Provide clinical and clerical support to healthcare providers and patients by performing various back office and patient-related tasks. Ensure smooth patient flow and assist in implementing the medical plan of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical and clerical tasks under the direction of a clinician.
  • Assist in preparing patients for exams and administering injections.
  • Take vital signs and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Travel as needed to support patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MA certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency.
  • General knowledge of medical procedures, anatomy, and terminology.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
Work Environment

This position requires regular travel and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
