Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Fitness Connection. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group fitness classes, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead engaging group fitness classes that cater to diverse fitness levels and interests
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all members, adhering to COVID-19/CDC guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with members, providing clear instructions and feedback
  • Participate in events to promote classes and programs, fostering a sense of community among members
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new class formats and programs
Requirements
  • Current national Group Exercise Instructor certification
  • CPR AED certification and basic first-aid training
  • Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, group exercise principles, and basic physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment
