Job Title: Post Acute/Skilled Care Administrator

Location: Winchester, TN

Salary: $101,000 - $136,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Post Acute/Skilled Care Administrator to lead our skilled nursing facility in Winchester, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, with a focus on post-acute and skilled care services. This role requires a leader who is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including maintaining current licensure and certification standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety, dignity, and well-being.
  • Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, families, and residents to create individualized care plans that meet each resident's needs.
  • Monitor and manage the facility's budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Engage with residents and their families to address concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction with care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, using data and feedback to enhance facility operations and resident care.
  • Maintain strong relationships with community partners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications: AHA-Basic Life Support certification.
  • Licensure: Current and active Nursing Home Administrators license for the State of Tennessee.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in healthcare administration, health concentration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, particularly in post-acute and skilled care settings.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and resource management.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, families, and external partners.
