Physician-Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:
The Faculty Physician plays a vital role in delivering quality medical care to patients in a clinical setting. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with administrators and other healthcare professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality treatment to patients in a professional manner
- Participate in teaching and training programs to develop the next generation of healthcare professionals
- Communicate with administrators and physicians to facilitate practice operations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient services to patients
- Conform to the ethical code of conduct of their professional organization and clinic policies and procedures
- Maintain a current professional license and professional liability insurance
- Attend meetings and training as requested, including participation in mandatory annual training in areas such as recipient rights, confidentiality, and cultural competence
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with healthcare trends and practices
- Obey confidentiality as required by all federal, state, and regulatory policies
- Perform related duties as assigned
Education, Licensure/Certification, and Training:
- Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board eligible
Skills and Abilities:
- High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate and establish productive working relationships
- Excellent analytical ability necessary to independently identify and resolve complex problems
- Clinical knowledge to meet medical requirements relating to various procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, personnel, and financial data
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and manage time
- Patient management skills necessary to provide quality care
Safety Requirements:
- Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and procedures
Working Conditions/Schedule:
- Hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department. Additional hours may be required
