Position Overview: The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Health is in search of a board eligible or certified Gastroenterologist specializing in motility disorders. This esteemed medical group is recognized as one of the largest in the nation, encompassing over 1,000 physicians and researchers across more than 40 specialties.
Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and managing patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease.
- Providing education and mentorship to fellows, residents, and students in the fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Supervising mid-level providers focused on IBD.
- Participating as a sub-investigator in clinical trials.
- Engaging with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including colorectal surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. An academic appointment through an affiliation with a prominent medical school will be offered, reflecting the candidate's training and experience.
