About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Family-Based Treatment Specialist to join our team at Unity Family Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized treatment services to children and families in our In-Home Family-Based Program. This role requires a deep understanding of child development, family dynamics, and mental health principles. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each family.

In this challenging and rewarding environment, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for conducting home visits, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular home visits to assess family needs and provide emotional support
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each family's unique circumstances
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
  • Document all interactions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with program guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children and families in a mental health setting
  • Strong knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and mental health principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary: $22-$32/hour
