AmeriGas, the nation's premiere propane company, is seeking a skilled Cylinder Production Specialist to join our team. Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Founded in 1959, AmeriGas serves over 1.5 million residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel propane customers across the United States.

Job Summary:

The Cylinder Production Specialist primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility, responsible for processing cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
  • Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear proper PPE.
  • Ensure consistent quality of processed cylinders.
  • Load filled cylinders onto trucks for next day's shipments.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and computer knowledge.
  • Willingness to grow and learn.
  • Ability to obtain required state licensing and forklift certification.

Working Conditions:

The production area where the employee spends most of the workday is not enclosed, and environmental conditions such as wind, rain, ice, and snow may affect this job.
