This role will involve supporting the Commercial Lines team in managing existing property and casualty clients as well as new business opportunities through various responsibilities, including: processing certificates of insurance and Motor Vehicle Records for commercial accounts; reviewing policies and endorsements, and updating applications in the Agency Management System; accessing carrier websites to gather relevant information for the daily management of commercial accounts; conducting policy checks; processing endorsements; managing direct bill renewals; accepting, documenting, and processing payments; handling phone inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service to foster and maintain client relationships. Additionally, this individual may be called upon to provide coverage for the receptionist when necessary.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Capable of executing tasks efficiently and accurately with keen attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with Agency Management Systems is required; Applied EPIC experience is preferred
- Understanding of insurance terminology, processes, and workflows is advantageous
- Must possess a current FL 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license, or be willing to obtain one promptly
