Position Overview

Peraton is looking for a skilled ESS Administrator to support critical operations at a key military command.

The ESS Administrator will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and monitoring ESS systems issues utilizing Remedy Incident and Service Request Management tools.


Key Responsibilities:
As a candidate, you will be expected to:

  • Administer Trellix ESS in various capacities, including:
-ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO)

  • Endpoint Security Suite (ENS) covering Platform, Firewall, Threat Prevention, Detection, and Reporting
  • Endpoint Security Suite for Linux (ENSL) addressing similar functionalities for Linux systems
  • Trellix Application & Change Control (TACC)
  • Data Loss Prevention / Device Control Module (DLP/DCM)
  • Rogue System Detection (RSD)
  • Policy Auditor (PA)
  • Ensure compliance with policies and directives from multiple agencies including:
USCYBERCOM, DISA, and USSTRATCOM.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with local and remote installations of security suite components and assist in deployment.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:
A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with no experience, or 6+ years of relevant military experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Expertise:

  • IAT Level-II certification compliant with DoD 8140 (Security+)
  • Proficient in network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, subnets, and Virtual Desktop Instances (VDI)
  • Experience with SQL databases, server and client administration
  • Familiarity with VMWare virtual environments, Linux, and Windows administration
  • Experience in Trellix administration or similar endpoint security solutions
  • Administration of McAfee Rogue System Detection (RSD)
  • SQL Database administration capabilities
  • Server administration across various networks
  • Knowledge and experience in virtualization technologies

Note:
This position necessitates a TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • HBSS Administrator 201 certification
  • HBSS Advanced Administrator 301 certification
  • Degree in IT Administration or Security
  • Experience with SQL Management Studio

Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000, reflecting the typical salary range for this role based on experience and other factors.
