Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Ambassador/Coordinator to join our team at IBI Healthcare Institute. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and seamless communication between patients, physicians, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons in consultations, educating potential patients on procedures and providing personalized support.
  • Manage multi-line phones, directing callers to the appropriate party or handling their needs independently.
  • Greet patients, sign them in, and obtain necessary information, including insurance details and medical history.
  • Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, as well as office policies and required documents.
  • Process payments from patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Update patient records and office notes in our Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Remind patients of upcoming appointments and schedule testing for off-site services.
  • Offer support and guidance to patients, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate, to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in a cosmetic or medical setting
  • Telemedicine clinic experience and knowledge of various telemedicine technologies are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and provide accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge of patient scheduling systems and billing systems.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn and understand technical requirements for telemedicine systems.
  • Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and diplomacy when interacting with patients and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all interactions.
