About the Role
HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and leadership to our team of nurses.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of post-operative patients
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift
Requirements
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
