About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Services Coordinator to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Pawtucket, RI. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing physical therapy services for patients who have impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Duties
  • Assess patients' physical function and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement best practices as appropriate.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • The ability to assess and interact with patients and families using theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.
  • Computer proficiency, preferably with Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to maintain a variable work schedule, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and travel, as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
