We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues at Conway Behavioral Health Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to patients in a highly-specialized inpatient environment, adhering to medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations, utilizing advanced knowledge and clinical skills.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders, and develop effective treatment plans to address their unique needs.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications, in accordance with established medical guidelines.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Maintain compliance with policy and procedures, ensuring seamless documentation, billing, and confidentiality.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required, with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
- One or more years' postgraduate degree practice preferred, with a strong background in child and adolescent treatment.
- Licensed Psychiatrist in the state of Arkansas, with current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state of Arkansas.
- Advanced knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program, with the ability to work hours to meet the needs of our clients.
