We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a key member of our Service Center team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of services and duties to ensure our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers
- Repair and install tires, balance wheels, and perform oil changes
- Install batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts
- Perform brake system repair, starting and charging system repair, and steering and suspension repair
- Install trailer hitches and wiring, and perform alignments
- Perform other duties as assigned with progressive on-the-job training
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred, but not required
- Competitive base pay up to $21.25/hour with annual performance-based merit raises
