Job Description

ONICON Measurement Solutions is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, including collections, applying payments, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking skills, and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial credit/collections with responsibility for direct customer contact. They will be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely assignments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer accounts, including collections, applying payments, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Processing payments accurately, maintaining records, and proactively collecting on past due accounts.
  • Investigating billing issues, providing excellent customer service, and generating reports.
  • Adhering to policies and procedures, and recommending opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Preferred qualifications include excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to exhibit poise, composure, and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations.

This is an onsite, non-exempt role that requires strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking skills, and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Position Requirements:

  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, MS Word).

This role supports two business units and requires strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a high-volume environment and deliver timely assignments.
