Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, along with fire pumps and backflow devices.
- As an Installer II, you will oversee the execution of the installation project plan, including equipment delivery, accurate forecasting of installation hours, anticipating potential challenges, and ensuring the security of all tools and equipment at the end of each work period.
In this role, you may lead a team, promptly addressing any changes, discrepancies, or coordination issues that may hinder installation activities with the construction manager.
Additional Duties:
- Review project blueprints to gather necessary information for installation tasks.
- Availability to work alternative shifts or weekends as required by customer or job needs.
- Overtime may be necessary.
- Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
- Inspections may be part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of documented experience in the installation and servicing of fire sprinkler systems.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Capability to work in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, as well as working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications relevant to installation tasks.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
