Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to lead our team in delivering innovative engineering solutions for infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of complex structural projects, including bridges, walls, culverts, and other transportation structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Lead a team of junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform load ratings on bridges and other structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or Washington, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, as well as experience with MIDAS Civil, AASHTOWare BrR, and/or Csi Bridge.
  • Demonstrated experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, Guide Specifications for LFRD Seismic Bridge Design, Oregon DOT BDM, and WSDOT BDM.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
