Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Structural Engineer with 8-15 years of expertise in building projects to join our California operations team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a highly creative and collaborative team on a diverse portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design and analysis for various building projects, encompassing steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic systems.
  • Assist in preparing drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
  • Manage staff and clients on large and complex projects.
  • Support studio leaders in managing staff and financials.
  • Mentor junior staff and maintain involvement in professional organizations to stay abreast of industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
  • P.E. license required; S.E. license considered an asset.
  • 8-15 years of experience in executing residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer.
  • Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM).
  • Working knowledge of REVIT.
  • Client-focused with a strong commitment to innovation and integrity.
