Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interim Tax Director to support our client with their tax filings. As a seasoned public tax CPA and/or corporate Tax Manager/Tax Director, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform technical tax reviews of assigned tax returns of varying complexity, researching complex tax issues and making process recommendations as necessary.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely filed consolidated US federal, state, and local income tax returns, with related workpapers that support the adjustments made and tax positions taken.
  • Partnership Tax and K-1 Filings: Focus on partnership tax and K-1 filings, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 8 weeks project commitment
  • Experience as a public tax CPA and/or corporate Tax Manager/Tax Director
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
