Overview

Sutter Health is currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations.
  • Assist in various procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety practices.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Certifications:

  • ARRT - Radiography certification required upon hire.
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist certification required upon hire.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
  • RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy certification to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Experience

Experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is preferred, particularly in an acute care setting.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and understanding technical factors.
  • Familiarity with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to radiology.
Work Schedule

This position is full-time, with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
