Position Overview:

As an Avionics and Electrical Systems Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting the troubleshooting and repair of system discrepancies to minimize schedule disruptions. Your technical expertise will play a crucial role in implementing process improvements aimed at reducing costs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Proficiency: Exhibit foundational technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
  • Installation and Testing: Under supervision, carry out the installation and functional testing of electrical and avionics components according to engineering specifications, ensuring a defect-free system.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining the quality and efficiency of all installations while troubleshooting processes to provide timely repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  • Skill Development: Acquire and demonstrate the necessary skills to effectively repair or replace defective components and wiring, ensuring compliance with conformity standards.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is thoroughly documented and prepared for inspection.
  • Testing Equipment: Test and maintain electronic systems and components, ensuring all test equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company programs related to Foreign Object Damage (FOD), tool control, and safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, you may be required to participate in flight tests as necessary. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
