Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Chemist to join our team at Orison Solutions. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sampling and Testing: Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, bulk formulations, finished products, stability samples, and non-routine samples.
  • Instrument Operation: Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and Auto titrator.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities, including laboratory notebooks and instrument calibration/qualification schedules.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including vendors and metrology teams, to ensure seamless instrument calibration/qualification activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, including FDA, ICH, GMP, GLP, and GDP.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in analytical or wet chemistry test procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in InfraRed (IR), Ultraviolet/Visible Spectroscopy, Particle Size Analysis, KF Titration, and wet chemistry skills.
  • Software and Systems: Familiarity with HPLC/GC analytical software and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, with specific vision abilities required for written work and PC use.
  • Mental Requirements: Effective written and oral communication skills, strong organizational planning and communication skills, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
