Job Summary

As a Representative Quality Control, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting concrete products before and during manufacturing, as well as at customer sites, to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow engineering specifications to determine and maintain quality and reliability of concrete products.
  • Select products for testing at specified stages in the production process and test products for various qualities, such as performance, strength, and chemical characteristics.
  • Record, evaluate, and analyze data, applying established statistical quality control procedures.
  • Set up and perform destructive tests on materials and products to measure performance, life, and material characteristics.
  • Collect, weigh, and record samples of minerals and chemical additives using various equipment and devices.
  • Measure product purity, particle size, and hardness, applying arithmetic formulas.
  • Inspect products at job sites and test the material, read results, duplicate tests, and compare test results to verify accuracy of measurements.
  • Strive to meet customer expectations without exception.
  • Maintain excellent customer communications regarding product purity and standards.
  • May supervise drivers at job sites.
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related work experience preferred.
  • 3 years of related field experience.
Working Conditions
  • Long periods of standing and/or walking required.
  • Some exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
