We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Adult Medical and Surgical Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide exceptional care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, night shift position that requires a minimum of 2 years of current nursing experience in adult acute care, adult intermediate care, and/or emergency department observation. As an experienced oncology nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of our unit's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network branch of AHA
  • Ability to perform the job duties with or without accommodation
