Paraprofessional with CDL-B

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional with CDL-B to join our team at The Menta Group. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and behavioral needs of our students.

• Provide targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, working closely with classroom instructors and staff.
• Offer general support to all students in the school, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Transport students to and from school, as well as provide transportation as needed during school hours.
• Manage classroom behaviors, report behavioral concerns to appropriate staff, and implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data.
• Provide general supervision of students inside the school setting, assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior, and respond to emergency situations.
• Develop and implement interventions to assist students in managing behaviors, think quickly and independently, and operate tactfully under stress.

• CDL-B certification
• Paraprofessional certification or the ability to obtain Paraprofessional certification
• Able to work with high-risk special needs students
• Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful
• Good driving record and willingness to drive student van is preferred
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply

• Flexibility to change in routines
• At least 23 years of age
