Assistant Chief of Cybersecurity Operations

As the Assistant Chief of Cybersecurity Operations at ENGIE North America, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining a comprehensive cybersecurity initiative that encompasses both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). Your role will involve formulating and upholding the North America cybersecurity vision, strategy, and framework, which includes the establishment, maintenance, and oversight of policies and procedures that ensure the secure and seamless functioning of all IT and OT systems. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Information Security Officer to advance ENGIE's overarching IT/OT cybersecurity strategy, program, and risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of internal guidelines and controls to ensure compliance with global policies, regulatory requirements, and program mandates.
- Serve as a vital member of the Cybersecurity Leadership Team, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making processes.
- Demonstrate effective project management and organizational skills to facilitate various cybersecurity initiatives.
- Utilize exceptional strategic vision and analytical capabilities to guide technology teams towards successful outcomes.
- Enhance processes through continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure cohesive cybersecurity strategies.
- This position supports a hybrid work environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically, with occasional overnight stays.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license is required.
- Adherence to all ENGIE ethics and safety protocols is mandatory.
Salary Range: $146,300 - $224,135 USD annually.
This range reflects the average expected compensation for qualified candidates. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and internal pay alignment.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive program.
