The LifeCafe Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the management and supervision of the café alongside the Café Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining cost efficiency, training and developing team members, ensuring cleanliness, and executing recipes that meet Life Time standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Profit and Loss statements, budgets, and cost controls related to food, beverage, and labor objectives.
- Foster leadership and performance excellence within the team by training, modeling, developing, motivating, and evaluating all team members to promote continuous improvement.
- Address all inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
- Ensure that safety, cleanliness, and security standards are prioritized, practiced, and regularly inspected.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory or management experience in fast casual dining environments.
- ServeSafe certification to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
- Ability to routinely bend and lift over 20 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in culinary arts, business, or a related field.
