We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Intermediate Care team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with medical providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, providing age and culturally appropriate care while carrying out physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs, and instruct and educate patients and families.
- Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients, and oversee discharge planning needs.
- Support new staff through mentoring and orientation, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current Indiana RN licensure or active Compact State RN license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing, Associates Degree required.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS, and NIHSS certification obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- TCAT course completion within a year of employment.
- Excellent collaboration between all staff/units and shifts, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
