ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Leadership in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department. Your key duties will include maintaining month-end documentation and reconciliations, preparing and recording journal entries, handling periodic accounts payable and receivable entries, and managing state and local tax filings for your assigned branches.

  • Oversee, review, and reconcile the branch's fixed assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies for any asset sales or disposals.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of inter-company accounts and manage intercompany accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Associate with daily operations, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment management, recordkeeping, and necessary accruals.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules to support transactions and ledger balances as required.
  • Actively engage in the month-end closing process, including accruals, trial balance reviews, and necessary adjusting journal entries as directed by the Corporate Controller.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in agricultural or manufacturing accounting is preferred.

Pay is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
