Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical advisor in your area of expertise related to products and processes.
  • Lead initiatives in Product Design and Development.
  • Possess hands-on experience with extrusion methodologies.
  • Identify and propose design solutions to achieve engineering, manufacturing, and financial objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation in compliance with APQP and QMS standards.
  • Communicate design, material, and specification requirements effectively.
  • Initiate and implement suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the design and development team, providing direction in design and analysis.
  • Engage with the Manufacturing Division to form a multidisciplinary team for reviewing product and process designs, ensuring DFM&A criteria are satisfied.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with clients as part of the PD&D process.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge to tackle more complex assignments.
  • Offer technical mentorship to colleagues.
  • Be prepared to work additional hours and travel as necessary to meet client demands.
  • Participate in and comprehend QMS/QOS as it relates to your role and associated functions.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Possibility of requiring proficiency in languages other than English.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
