Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Extrusions Specialist to join our team at LER TechForce. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading product design and development, with a focus on extruded polymer products. Your strong background in extrusions and technical expertise will enable you to provide technical consulting services to our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product design and development strategies to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and development align with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers on extrusion processes and product design.
  • Identify and communicate design, materials, and specifications to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement suggestions to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design and development meet DFM&A requirements.
  • Meet with customers to discuss product design and development, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Provide technical mentoring and training to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong background in extrusions and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer proficiency and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
