Role Summary: We are in search of a meticulous HVAC Testing Technician to join a reputable organization within the HVAC sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Coordination: Oversee and implement all stages of HVAC system testing, working closely with various teams to initiate and assess units and systems.
  • Pre-Startup Review: Analyze design schematics, material lists, and checklists, and prepare necessary PLC or VFD programs before system activation.
  • Component Evaluation: Examine and document all components and their installations prior to energizing the systems.
  • Verification Checks: Execute and record essential checks post-energization, including motor orientation, belt alignment, refrigerant levels, and control sequences.
  • Technical Support and Documentation: Offer technical guidance for system installation and operation, maintain detailed records and reports on procedures and solutions, and respond to urgent service requests.

Qualifications:

  • Availability: Flexibility to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis as required.
  • Licensing: Valid Texas HVAC Technician Registration is mandatory.
  • Preferred Certifications: TWIC card and Basic Plus certification are advantageous.
  • EPA Certification: Must possess a Universal EPA Certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in interpreting electrical wiring diagrams for effective troubleshooting and error detection.
  • Equipment Experience: Familiarity with live rotating equipment and high-voltage systems up to 600 volts.
  • Screening: Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
