Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting various sampling and testing procedures. This includes inspecting cans for defects, performing metal exposure testing, and verifying that products meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product sampling and testing to ensure quality and consistency
  • Inspect barcodes, text, and graphics for accuracy
  • Sample and select product for retention storage
  • File proper paperwork, including start-up sheets and product data
  • Input product and process data into our system
  • Collect pre-delivery samples and perform finished goods inspection
  • Report potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in ISO/GMP and in-process testing
  • Excellent color detection skills and attention to detail
  • Measuring skills using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
  • Computer skills, including Windows operating system and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to remain organized and problem-solve
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
Work Environment:

This position performs job duties on the shop floor, where machinery produces loud noises. The quality assurance technician will also use quality assurance equipment and telephones/walkie-talkies to perform job duties.
