Job Title: Program Manager, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/NorthwellWe are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of assigned courses, ensuring alignment with the mission and goals of the School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to manage, plan, and implement the delivery and evaluation of assigned courses and related activities.
- Provide high-level administrative support, including development of course materials, scheduling and attending meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing and tracking tasks.
- Manage the administration of assigned courses and learning sessions, faculty meetings, and other related activities.
- Develop and create forms and databases to document and support program activities.
- Recognize and identify issues and challenges as they arise, monitoring short- and long-term needs and communicating with stakeholders to gather feedback and input necessary for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-3 years of relevant administrative experience supporting an academic program in higher education, preferably in a school of health professions.
- Must have above-average organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a high degree of judgement, discretion, and confidentiality.
