Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as their key support and manage daily activities in their absence.Your influence on overall store performance will be significant as you exemplify best practices in account management, marketing, and compliance, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience in our dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Guide, mentor, and oversee store personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and Company regulations.
Evaluate financial transaction risks, accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary services.
Build customer relationships and conduct daily inbound and outbound call initiatives to foster new business, sustain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty and recognition.
Optimize customer satisfaction by offering relevant ancillary products that meet their needs.Ensure adherence to office security measures and execute proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.
Supervise account management and recovery processes while maintaining a strong focus on customer service to mitigate loss and charge-off accounts, including collection communications.
Uphold a work environment that complies with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct store evaluations, generate reports, and compile financial data to ensure staff compliance.Oversee and maintain the internal and external appearance of the store, addressing basic facility requirements and scheduling maintenance services.
Assist in managing the store and daily operations in the absence of the General Manager.
Work effectively in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment, managing multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet both individual and team performance objectives.
Maintain a full-time work schedule with consistent, in-person attendance, including weekends.A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week.
Store hours, schedules, and/or the minimum number of hours required for this position may be subject to change by brand entity and at the sole discretion of the Company.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum one year of key holder, supervisory, and/or management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, financial or service industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systemsMust be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply)Physical demands for this position frequently include:
the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about freely inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
