Job Title: Occupational Leave Specialist

Join Airgas Inc, a leading company in the industry, as an Occupational Leave Specialist. This role is responsible for managing all associate leaves of absence, providing subject matter expertise on Company Health & Welfare plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all aspects of leave and workers' compensation programs, including leave cases and workers' compensation claims.
  • Provide expert-level knowledge of HR programs, policies, benefit plans, and leave administration procedures.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of leave and workers' compensation claims, including tracking hours used/taken and updating HR systems.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including HR, safety, and labor teams, to ensure effective leave administration and compliance.
  • Conduct investigations into reported workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with OSHA and workers' compensation laws.
  • Develop and implement metrics and reports to enhance process and procedural improvements, system enhancements, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CLMS (Certified Leave Management Specialist) certification is preferred.
