EMT/Paramedic - Occupational Health Specialist

OccuMedX Group, Inc. is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our construction occupational health solutions team as an Onsite Medical Partner. This role involves operating an onsite health clinic, providing emergency medical response, injury prevention, health assessments, and equipment management.
Key Responsibilities:- Emergency Medical Response: Provide immediate medical care in response to accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies occurring on the construction site. Assess and stabilize injured or ill workers, administer appropriate medical interventions, and coordinate transportation to a medical facility if necessary.
- Injury Prevention and Safety: Conduct regular safety walks to identify potential risks. Collaborate with the project team to implement preventive measures. Provide ongoing education and training to workers on topics such as first aid, CPR, workplace safety, and injury prevention.
- Health Assessment and Monitoring: Implement and oversee the workplace wellness program, including health screenings, assessments, education, and preventative care to all onsite partners. Monitor and manage employee health concerns, such as workplace injuries, illnesses, and exposure to hazardous materials.
- Medical Equipment and Supplies Management: Ensure the availability and proper function of medical equipment, supplies, and medications necessary for emergency care and first aid. Conduct regular inventory checks, maintain stock levels, and oversee the storage and organization of medical supplies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medical incidents, treatments, and follow-up care provided to workers. Prepare incident reports, injury logs, and other documentation required for regulatory compliance and internal reporting purposes.
- Current State or National Certification or Registration as an EMT or Paramedic required.
- Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a pre-hospital or clinical environment preferred.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification - Must obtain within first 30 days of employment (Employer Provided).
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels required.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment required.
Starting Pay: $24.00+/hr
