Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Supervisor to join our National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program. As a key member of our team, you will provide supervision for a team of experienced professionals and ensure that work is performed properly and within the prescribed time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of personnel, including hiring, promotion, and termination authority.
  • Provide timecard management and guidance for assigned staff.
  • Maintain frequent interface and communication with manager, FAA personnel, and other contractor personnel.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, establish project schedules, and project estimates.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines through to completion.
  • Provide technical assistance and recommendations regarding the closure of construction-related punch-list items.
  • Effectively communicate in written and verbal form and provide well-organized documentation.
  • Discuss project-related items with stakeholders, contractors, and code-related Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering degree from a 4-year ABET-accredited College/University with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience with multiple personnel and projects.
  • Relevant experience should include experience designing shelter replacements, road improvements, roofing replacements, facility structural improvements, and facility modernization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, and Engineering Scheduling tools and applications.
  • Proficiency with AUTOCAD / MICROSTATION.
  • Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs. and completing physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work experience for/with the FAA is highly preferred.
  • Prior work experience with US government managers, employees, and programs.
