Job Description

AbbVie is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and delivering innovative medicines and solutions that address serious health issues. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Data Capture Specialist to join our Data Science team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the overall eCRF Library Development and Maintenance Project, identifying and managing individual components of the library, and developing processes and tools to ensure consistency in implementation and quality of CDASH and AbbVie Data Collection Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of common data standards and ensure EDC systems designs comply with the standards and protocol requirements.
  • Establish and maintain methodology used by the team to design and develop EDC systems, benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Ensure TA- and program-level consistency is achieved by the design team.
  • Accountable for the on-time design and delivery of new clinical systems, integrations between systems, and any required changes to EDC systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in specialized standards development skills, with an emphasis on raw data standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards such as CDASH, SDTM, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities and experience mentoring, training, and leading teams.
  • 5+ years of EDC clinical technology experience, with experience with Veeva CDMS Studio preferred.
