Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Travel Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our members, helping them to plan and book their dream vacations. If you have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Sell international and domestic vacation packages, cruises, tours, hotel, car rental, rail, and air travel to our members.
    • Research and evaluate travel options to ensure that our members receive the best possible deals and experiences.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest travel industry developments and trends, and share your knowledge with our members.
    • Process and interpret travel documents for our members, ensuring that they have all the necessary information to plan their trips.
  • Business Development
    • Initiate contact with our members and past customers to prospect for new business and encourage repeat business.
    • Cross-sell products and services, such as insurance and membership accounts, to our members.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 2 years of recent experience selling international and domestic travel services preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
    • Industry-specific applications, such as Galileo and VAX.
    • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to listen to members' needs.
    • Bilingual communication skills a plus.
Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position at our AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah office. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with our members and colleagues to provide exceptional service and support.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly base plus commissions, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. New Travel Sales Consultants are eligible for a bonus guarantee for the first five quarters.
