Job Overview

Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images using computed tomography (CT) technology.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and analyze images using CT scanners, ensuring accurate and detailed results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and imaging protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Kentucky State Radiation License required.
  • BLS certification needed.
  • 2 years of experience necessary.
  • Must have experience in acute setting Xray and CT with ED and ICU patients.
Schedule and Benefits
  • Third Shift-Tuesday-Friday week 1 and Wednesday-Saturday week 2.
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40.
  • Weekend Hours: every other Saturday.
  • No Call Requirements.
  • Will work in Xray 2 nights and CT 2 nights per week.

  • Number of Beds: 298.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1.
  • Equipment used: Siemens Edge and Siemens Definition AS.
  • EMR system used: Cerner.
Additional Details
  • Scrub Color: Ceil Blue Top, Ceil blue or black pants, Ceil blue or black scrub jacket.
  • Unacceptable attire includes: no hoodies, T-shirts, no crocs, no open toe shoes.
