Position Overview

The OBGYN Ultrasound Specialist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services. This position focuses exclusively on obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care throughout the scanning process.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is mandatory for specific units.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required in certain areas.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is necessary for specific situations.
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification as applicable.
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course certification as required.
  • National Tech Certification Verification as mandated.
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment is essential.
  • State License Verification is required.
  • NURSYS Verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) training where applicable.
  • NIH Stroke Certification as per unit requirements.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute training for certain specialists.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam where necessary.
  • Competency Exam as per profession standards.

Job Details

The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The first patient is scheduled for scanning at 8:00 AM, with the last appointment at 3:50 PM. Each ultrasound session is allocated 40 minutes, allowing for thorough and attentive patient care.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius. Local travelers are not accepted. The following certifications are required:

  • ARRT certification
  • ARDMS certification
