Job Summary

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer. This is a 13-week contract opportunity in Fishersville, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
